  • All things are fair in Party and War!

Oh what great times I have had.  This weekend, my roommate Faris and I threw a little party.  Ryan Davis, David Calliot, Cody Smith were all over.  We watched Resident Evil and played WarioWare: Smooth moves.  In random intervals between these activities a war was going on.  Duesner #8 started a war with Ebersold and other Duesner rooms a little while ago.  It seems they have discovered the marshmallow gun.  They seem consistent in pelting our window and us with marshmallows.   We have throw back cookies, (the 94 cent kind), and other food items.  This Friday we were out of cookies, so we improvised.  First we threw apples and mini-wheats.  Then we  found ice in Caleb's refrigerator.  Oh the fun we had.  After a lull in the war, Faris snuck over and "borrowed a marshmallow pipe.  Ryan then add a little Butt smell to it.  You get my drift.  We then placed the pipe back in it's original position, and went back to our movie.  About an hour later, we heard the familiar sound of marshmallows hitting our window.  Everyone died laughing.  Improvised water balloons were then throw.  All in all, it turned out to be a fun and exiting night.  Back to homework I guess.

  • Fun in the florescent light!

I have had to get used to Union.  It hasn’t exactly been hard, but it isn’t easy either.  First off there is the freedom.  Good thing, but weird getting used to it.  Second is the homework day in and day out.  There is always and always will be homework.  I still need to work on my time management, but I’m getting better.  Finally there is Logos.  Yes, it is the ULTIMATE BIBLE SOFTWARE.  It has come in, but I can’t use it because it is still in Bolivar.  Luckily my mom is dropping the software off tomorrow.  FUN STUFF! It does seem that I’m stuck in the dorm a lot.  Note to self ---<< Get out more!  >>---.

  • Another crazy week at union

I'm having a crazy time at Union.  Lots of homework.  How much can I stress this, and stress out.  I have been playing rome, madden, and other various forms of entertainment though.  I guess I can't claim to have it too rough.  Faris Bakeer just came up with something that captures the essence of life at Union.  "I know I could get a lot done right now, but because I don't have a deadline, I just don't want to."  Ahh, if it were just easier to study.  Why can't studying be like eating candy?

  • Wall of things to do!

Hey everybody.  I am loving Union and all.  Haven't started classes though, so I'm kinda nervous about that.  Anyway, I have 4 room mates with me: Faris Bakeer, Kevin Alderberger, Nathan Fisher, and Caleb Stallings.  So far it has been great, and I don't see many problems ahead.  To give you  a little update on us I am going to tell you about our wall of things to do.  We came up with this original idea when we didn't want to lose a sticky note reminding us to try the Olympic Sport: office chair jumping.  So, we decided to stick it on the living room wall.  This soon evolved into writing in several notes the title of the wall.  The things we have besides the ocj are build a 6ft bible replica and carry it around campus, make shirts for our room, room night once a week, pray together every night, and international talk like a pirate day!  I'll keep you posted for more.

  • Union University - Day 1

Today was my first day at Union University.  The first thing I did was to register in Watter's Complex.  That is where I am living now.  I am staying in the Ebersold building....aka "The Getto".  The whole place is the worst building on campus, but it's ok.  Beat up furniture and stuff, but I don't really care about all that.  After registration I began to unload everything from my truck.  Faris Bakeer, a best friend, was also there.  Soon two of my other room mates joined us.  After unpacking, my family and Faris' family went out to eat at Zaxsby's Chicken.  It was Good Stuff!  Next I helped my sister unpack.  Finally after a heat stroke I was able to go back to my dorm.  (I was kidding about the stroke).  The rest of the day was orientation stuff.  The best two parts were the Ice Cream and Comedy show.  At the comedy show, several skits were done.  There was the gross peanut butter skit.  The ambulance / doctor skit where they react the same screen in different ways was cool too.  Overall it was a great first day.  As a closing note, my other two roomies are crazy.  That is, in the fun way.
